window tracks on 109 middle doors

Anyone know of a way to get windows out of 109 middle doors without removing the window lock (top middle of window IIA)? Any tricks on replacing middle window tracks? Happy Fourth to all.

You're going to have to remove the lock to get the track out. Just drill out the rivets and put some new ones in when you go back with new tracks. The only trick to getting out the tracks is to make sure that you have removed all the little screws holding the tracks in. This can be difficult on the bottom tracks, as they are usually rusted so badly that the heads strip out. However, if you can get all the top track screws out, you can work the top track out by gently pushing on the upper side of the window. Once the window is out, you can grind away the left over screws to remove the bottom track.

But, on the bright side, you've already got the drill out from having to remove those rivets...
