    Weight of a hardtop

I've got a project in mind that would be easier with the top off-plus it's sumer!

I'm guessing with the glass, rear window hardware and sun shield it's going to be about 100 lbs? I'm trying to guess if I'll need one or two guys to help walk it off the IIa.

It is a heck of alot easier with 2 guy but possible with 1. It is not so much the weight as it is the difficulty in handling a large unevenly weight proportioned slab of bulk.

Wow, how's that for a wordy description for something that is big and a PIA.

        Matt,
I removed mine with one helper, 2 people. It was not bad but I would say 4 would be really good, one on each corner.

Nice set up Clint, that looks like a great solution and I've got a high ceiling in my garage ( but a low door??) so I've got the room. The only difficulty I'll have is that I don't have the side panels with the sliding windows (another project on the list) so I'll have to devise another way to support the rear section.

Your 88 is looking very very nice as well.
