What did I do wrong? Wipers both go same direction, Series 3

Just popped the wiper arms back on to go it inspected today and tried the wipers and they both turn the same direction?? Something tells me the upper dash has to come off again

EDIT: Just looked at my photos pre disassembly and realized how the mechanism works and that I have the rod on top of both wheelboxes instead of under the passenger side.

      Kevin,
the direction is changed by where the drive cable is attaced to the wiper drive box. On top of gear goes one way on bottom goes other.
I did the same thind but didn't realize it until my dash was all back together.

Thanks to this post I realized I did the same thing! I did however find out that it can be fixed in place without the removal of the dashtop. Took 10 minutes .
