    Gearbox issue

I just noticed last night that while coasting in 2nd gear my gearbox rattles a bit..
no loss of engagement and once I get on the gas it stops..

is this a sign of something or just another noise...

funny thing is.. my wife said something similar..

something to the tune of its only one and you don’t use it that much...

I guess I should just ask her from now on..

So I should take it as normal as long as the oil is clean and its status quo?

        Rover Torque

Do you have an overdrive fitted?
Either way, check to ensure that the mainshaft lock nut is torqued to the correct spec. (90 ft. lbs.)

now that I think about it.. the roverdrive replaces that with a hex nut and yes I hit it with an impact wrench and checked torque..
