0-54mph in just under 11.5 minutes
(9.7 minutes now that she's a 3-door). -
I drive down from Brewer Maine and am looking forward to attending this year. It is 6 plus hours one way to get there and the least of my worries is if my Rover will get me there and back. I can assure you that for me it is worth the trip just to see the great people that I met last year. If Jason and Jason read this I'm planning on camping with you guys Sat night. All I hope is that the bits I need to finish my Rover will arrive in time and that it is back together.

yea my next break will be october 16-24. My dad came up with me last year and had a ball, he shouldn't have any trouble taking the 109 by himself or with my brother this year.
Omar, your about 45 minutes from me (without overdrive lol) and petersham is about 3 hours from me taking backroads. Entirely do-able in your truck

I'm not sure whether Don cares if you let him know, in advance, that you'll want to be selling stuff, but to call it a 'swap meet' is puting a bit of color to it. It's very small, 2x very informal, and usually only 4 or 5 people bring stuff to sell. The best for buyers is when Don invites you up to his barn.Comment

I do drive her to work when the weather is nice, on back roads. I have not done any engine, tranny, or anything to her. She is pretty much original minus the paint about 6 years ago. Shooting for just changing all fluids including diff, transfer cas, ect. She drives beautifuly though.1996 Discovery SE7 5spd -SOLD

Don's Barn is the Holy of holies in terms of rover parts. It really should be a parts exchange for everyone else and save your pennies for that barn. By the way I have a NADA D90 front wrap around brush bar that could be restored. Free to to someone who will use it. I don't care if it turns into your kids see-saw, just use it.Comment

Well, I'm going to try my best to get up there because I'd like to meet you all and broaden my knowledge. Do people come without Land Rovers, too? If possible, I'd like to tag along with someone in their Series on the trails.Comment

If anybody breaks down You can keep it in my barn for as long as needed, the wife let me put up a 40x60 "shed last year just for the landy, it fits nice and snug... george the series 3 will be coming this year , with a new bumper from Ike , ( if the bloody thing ever ships, 2 months and counting)Whence came you my brother ?
