Thanks bkreutz. Yes, LaneRover's post had me so taken back with shock and hilarity, I was at a loss for words.

Good one fellas ,now PETA is going to shut down the site .
I can't remember ? Is it People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals or People Eating Tastey Animals. I always confuse them!

Was just feeling out the interest.
So this is what I've gathered, Amcordo is in as long as there is pole dancing, Jackiia wants to turn it into a ''Rave'', Lanerover can't make it because he is busy north of the Artic Circle....you guys are over the top.
All chop busting aside, does this idea of pulling together something have any merit or am I dreaming.
Now I know I'm the new guy here and I haven't earned my salt yet,but I 'm working it.
I was thinking we could combine this with a convoy to Hunter mtn and all take part on their new Zip line Adventure .Nice drive threw the mtns about 45 mins from here. I could get us a pretty good group discount I think?
Anyway I hope to make it up to the Metal Dash weekend .I guess you could feel me out then. Sean

I am a member of the 2nd group.

One of my favorite bumper stickers is, "If we're not supposed to eat animals then why are they made out of meat?"

If I was close to Stonefox in New York I think a small event would be great. At the moment I am unfortunately not up north but in Georgia enjoying the massive amounts of heat and humidity.

Last night the company learned that choosing to film in a creek bed isn't a good idea.

Brenton, I shall remember the waste not, want not rule and avoid reading one of your posts with a mouthful.

Stonefox, It sounds like a fun idea. I think you would have success with 10 trucks at the most. Any more and the logistics can get troublesome unless the attendees are easy to work with. Sounds like fun any way and would like to attend if not for all the other events to get out of the way. In fact, I do believe there is a gap in events local/national where you could put this together. That would be November.

Make it a snow run and you'd have folks biting at the chance. Maybe it would be a ski run then though...

Thanks for the insight Tim. I'm all about the the small Gig idea, although all would be welcome. Timing is key. I have no dates in mind and I don't want to get in on somebody elses party time . I'll be out west on a hunting trip for the first three weeks of Nov. Is late Nov -early Dec. work for a overnight stay the weather is changing pretty good by then. How tough is the crowd ?
Anyway, I have a ton of thoughts and would appreciate any insight or help into organizing some things from anybody that might be interested.
I've been working on some new trails and clearing some old ones .I got some wet areas if we ever get rain again as well as some potential hill climbs. I kind of baby my rig because I don't want to Efit up ,but I know some guys Like to push the envelope a little further. Sean

I'm down in Rockland. My 109 ex-MOD closes on the evil auction site in, oh, about 4 hours! If I find a replacement (and I am actively looking) I'd be interested in some off roading.

Driving trough the fire roads of Harriman is taking it's toll on my nerves. I know I will eventually come head to head with someone who has a bigger badge than me.

FWIW some of the best events I have been to have pretty much started out this way. Pick a weekend and go from there. Don't invest a lot of your $ the first year or so in case no one comes and just have fun.
