    Replacement Vin Plate??

    hey! i have a 1966 land rover 109 inch and someone stole my vin plate from under the dash and the gear shift plate, they also got a few other little things out of it, is there a place in america i can get another vin plate and have the number engraved in it? i found a place in uk but figured id see if theres one here in america that makes the vin plates, thanks!!! chris

      wow thanks checked out the website and thats exactly what i need! i went out of town for a week and some crackheads stole anything aluminum and copper they could off of the rover including prying the vin plate and gear plate off, thanks for the help!! chris

          nah they just got whatever they could with a screwdriver and a knife, they did get an old half door that was aluminum, it was laying by my shed, but luckily they just got what they could quickly

            You might think about reporting that. Someone might be wanting the Vin #.

                RN used to do that, try Triple C :-

                Acrylic License Plates (Pair one white, one yellow) As currently used in the UK (reflective became mandatory from 1973) Let us know combination of letters and numbers up to eight digits. (Both plates will have the same copy) Sold in pairs one white front and one yellow background. Standard size 20 5/8" X 4 1/2" (520 x 111mm) Should be used in conjunction with number plate backing plate ALK3268. We now also have GB European Union flags that can be added as an option - please specify as this can not be added later. Click on first image to see the standard font range. Note - these are custom made items, please be sure this is the correct item and the correct lettering before ordering as once made these are a non returnable item. If in doubt please call first

                    nice!

                    i was looking for the square one that goes on the front wing. i have the square one on the right rear tub, and the rectangle one on the front bumper. but i also wanted a square for the front left wing so i could remove the smaller bumper mounted one.

                    i guess i could just custom make one out of sheet metal using the rear one as a template?

                      Did you specify a stolen Vin#? that will, or should make a big difference.....just in covering your own ass later on down the road.

                        yes i gave them the number, that way nobody tries to register a vehicle with my plate

                              Vin Plate

                              If it is a Series IIA 88 I have a small stock of blank Vin plates. They are genuine and came from the CKD plant in New Zealand. I hve no series III or 109 ones Ray 604 925 1260.
