2.5 Diesel Fuel Injector to Loan?

Anyone have a spare 2.5 Diesel injector lying around that they'd be willing to loan out for a few months? I want to have all my injectors rebuilt, but can't afford to take the Rover off the road right now. Going to do them one at a time if I can find a working spare to rotate in...

If I remember correctly, the 2.5 uses the same pintaux injectors as the 2.25, which you can get for about $25 each from the UK. If you're determined to rebuild, I've got the four I replaced last year - they were about to get tossed, actually.

I believe you're right about the 2.25 and 2.5 injector part numbers being the same.

I don't mind having mine rebuilt--Those $25 injector are rebuilds anhyhow. Often (not always) you need to exchange your old ones. It only costs about $50 (each) to have them rebuilt around here.

Let me know how much you want for your old ones. It'll be easier to have those rebuilt and run mine till the rebuilds are done.

      I'll PM you...
