    Black soft tops

Does anyone have any experience with the black soft tops, like do they fade faster, are they a lot hotter, make the inside too dark? I don't see many pictures of them, didn't know if many people had them. I would like to see what one would look like on an alpine white or limestone series 3.

Those are likely the same material used to make NAS defender tops. Have a look at a white defender with a black top.

Speaking personally, I'm not a big fan of the black tops...

If its the black quasi-plastic defender style tops you are interested in. Allwheeltrim in the UK can make them for you. If you have endlessly deep pockets than badger coachworks can do a very nice soft top for you as well ( you do pay for it). I cannot bring up their site at the moment, but there are examples of series rovers with what they call "mohair" which is akin to what you are thinking.

I have a black exmoor canvas top. It has faded after a couple of years, especially on top.
