Breakfast - Anyone Remember This Random Factoid?

The bottom quarter of my radiator panel was toast - all rust.

After a new weld up, I'm about ready to paint but need to drill the three holes in it's base that hold it to the frame. (The PO had repaired with sheet metal and rivets so I don't have a baseline).

Anyone know off-hand if those holes are supposed to be oval to allow for adjustment or just circular one shot deals??

Admittedly this is minutea and not a biggie, but thought I'd might as well ask.

    Thanks.

Whoops. Looked at one of my shots of the galv. chassis and realized the mounting brackets on the chassis are ovals on that end for adjustment. So, that answers it (I believe). Circular.

On a brand new SS one I purchased the holes were round not oval.

Thanks Jim. Did you get that from John Gerling? If so, last I heard he wasn't making them anymore.

Yes I did. Got it about 4 years ago.
