    My rebuild.

Don't know why I never posted the progress of my rebuild up here but thought I would post the link to the photo's of the build so far for anyone that might be interested.
A little backstory. Started out as a 1975 109 exMOD FFR 24volt. It has taken 3 years and I had hoped to have it ready to take to MAR this year but I'm a few weeks away from having it done.
Converted to 12 volt and some upgrades. It was never supposed to be this involved but OCD is a terrible thing to waste!!

Nice! I need to do the same thing to my 109 p-up.

        1965 109 SW - nearly running well
1966 88 SW - running but needing attention

You sure have some nice toys to play with.

I suppose with your degree of OCD its important to ensure the minimum of fuss

Love the colour. Looking forward to seeing it complete.

          Pretty sharp looking Disco too.

Nice! What did you prime and paint the engine with?

The engine was painted with Dupli-color Engine Enamel. 'Grey engine primer' #DE1612 and then 'Detroit Diesel Alpine Green' #DE1618.

The axles were sprayed with Rust Bullet 'BlackShell' and the stub axles were sprayed with Eastwood Rust Encapsulator and then top coated with Eastwood Chassis Black.

Thanks. The seats are Trakkers High-back seats and the brakes are the Torrel kit from Rocky Mountain - they went on really easily and everything fit. ( A well made and well thought out kit.)
