If it uses the same part as the fairey, Rovers Down South probably has them, and you can still find NOS parts on ebay from time to time.

rovers down south said that the part is not the same. I looked online and they look very very similar, but the guy i spoke with was very certain it didnt fit.

The splines are a lot more coarse than those of the Fairey so the parts do not interchange. Try European/Australian LR sites. They are more common in those parts of the world.

Here's the one for a Toro:

That picture may be worth the proverbial 1000 words. I saw Osajaj's clutch and it is much finer than 21 splines, If I'm remembering correctly. Kinda making me wonder if he actually has a Toro clutch at all. Osajaj, count your spline teeth, and let us know.

My feeling is that this will be a futile search. The Toro was only made for a few years and sold by Bearmach. When they still carried parts some of the parts in later units did not match the earlier units. You might find a local gear cutter to make a coupling but it would be expensive. Ray

Is there any chance Paul Heystee's ex Santana "Superdrive" shares any parts? It might be worth asking him.

The 'SUPERDRIVE' is a pipe dream. It has been just about available for the last three years. Rather like the 'Tim Payne' unit in the UK. Ray

From looking at the clutch sleeve at the weekend, it was very similar to the Fairey version.
I'll have a rumage and see if I can get some pix.

I think the only way to get the overdrive working and in the truck is to get a clutch sleeve machined but the problem is not sure how the process works. I am assuming I actually need a clutch sleeve to duplicate or can they use the unit itself to make one. Anybody have a clue?? Thanks for the help again. I have been posting everywhere and seems like it is impossible to find, unless I can track down another toro.

You might have to cut your losses and just part yours out? How attached are you to this OD anyway? An obsolete OD made from unobtanium parts isn't a great idea IMHO, it might be a good source of $ to put towards a new Roverdrive though if you part it out.

Not too attached but I feel it would be a waste to part her out. Or that I wont get enough for it or find another overdrive for a reasonable price.

I don't know how much you have invested in it but as it stands now you are pretty well screwed- you might luck into the part you need or you might be able to have it made up but that would be yet more $ into a questionable OD- how is the condition of the rest of it?

I guess you could also keep an eye on Ebay.co.uk, maybe Spain's Ebay too, and maybe luck into another used unit and make 1 from the 2.
