HI! I am going to Charlotte NC from Ontario and was wondering if there are any series II owners/ shops/ events that may be interesting to me. I will be there on the 7 th. and will be there for a week.
No rover shops BUT there are a lot of cool car/airplane related things to go see. Dunno if you are a NASCAR fan but there is a lot of stuff in Charlotte.
The NASCAR hall of fame is downtown, its pretty cool. Also lots of car museums up the road. Dunno if you'll have transportation, but you'll need it to access those areas.
The Carolina Aviation museum out at Charlotte-Douglas Airport is . They have LOTS of cool stuff.
Downtown, Buckhead Saloon and Blackfin are both nice, relaxing places to grab a drink in the evening. Blackfin is located at this place called, "The Epicenter" which has all kinds of fun stuff to do.
I used to live in Charlotte. If I was still there, I'd ride you around in my 109.
I think the Charlotte Air Museum might be closed or relocated. Up until two weeks ago I was flying in and out of Charlotte weekly. They are doing work on that end of the runway and all the aircraft that used to site outside have been moved away from the old hanger.
