What's a 3/4 canvas for a SWB?

The latest RN catalog just came and I see full length and 3/4 length canvas tops listed for an 88? Are they talking truck cab or something else?

The opposite--A hood just over the load area (for use with a pickup top).

Odd that they call it 3/4 on an 88. It's more like 1/2
