Looking to Improve my SIIa brakes

I have a series IIa that currently has the single brake system. I am looking for tips on converting it to a Dual system and or a SIII system. I am starting over from the frame up. Not trying for a museum quality rebuild so I can look at options.

I have access to a used SIII master cylinder and booster but is this wise? It was functional and looks like it is in good shape. Apart from that I understand the way the lines run for a dual power vs single system and for the dual I require a new junction – 4 way or 5 way??

I take it the series IIa brakes are fully manual and the SIII brakes are vacuum assisted? Will this work on a diesel engine?

    Any other ideas or suggestions?

-dual power brakes is a great upgrade. You will need to assess the condition of a used unit yourself. If your diesel has a vacuum pump it will work otherwise you will need to add one.

if it is a 2.25 it probably does not have one unless it had been added. If it is a 2.5 or later it should have one.
