Good place to buy cores

I am looking for a Series 3 gearbox to rebuilt this winter while mine is still in the truck..
I have always found it better to learn on something you dont have to count on being ready at a certain time...

See if anyone in the Finger Lakes Rover Club has one. Actiually I think there is a member in the club who has a side business rebuilding them. He was at Guy Fawkes this fall Bill Leacock.

He might have a core for you- I have given all of mine away.

I don't know who is in charge anymore. Get ahold of Bill Leacock though, his email should be somewhere on the net he has been active with the LRO list and LR's forever. Shouldn't be too hard to google him up.
