    Land Rover Family tree

found on Jalopnik, not the easiest to read diagram but pretty comprehensive none the less.

Fancy yourself a Landie lover? Here's the full family tree from 1945 to 2009. Just move the LRX from "concept" over to production and it's as current as you can get. Click through to embiggen the intricately-detailed image. [via LandRover]

Not to ignite a flame war but what about the Bantam and Willys/Ford MB\GPW? Those are really the roots of the Land Rover.

Very true, and deserving of at least a reference, IMO.

They made an 88 Forward Control? Good grief, just imagine the ride!
