      I got this t-shirt:

For tools, I got a nice shop vac and a rubber mallet.

For car parts, I picked up a set of NOS door weatherstripping and NOS door skins for my 68 Camaro.

If at all possible, I would love to see pics of your stuff. It's fine if it's too much of a pain.

        Thanks,

            Aaron:

I left the curved part on and my (Genuine) Defender door seals fit fine (if a bit tight).

Give it a try before you start cutting.

also, if you must cut them off don't grind (messy) I used a pair of good tin snips and then sanded the sharp edges - worked fine.

I didn't do anything to the edges - just pushed the seals on. I took one look at the window frame and said forget it - way too strong to mess with, in my view. And as it turned out, unneccessary.

I may have cut a small (2-3") piece off near one of the footwells, but I think it was left over from a PO's bad repair job.

All my Land Rover got this year was a drive from Flagstaff to Texas to visit my sister and hopefully an uneventful drive back sometime next week.

My TR3 made a big haul through. Her hard top is in a shop getting refinished and repainted and her boot lid is getting a rust area fixed and repainted. SHE GOT 3 NEW GAUGES, a new fuel pressure regulator, new fuel pressure gauge, and a new electric fan controller.

My haul was a bit smaller than my TR's haul and more family oriented including a wall collage of current family pictures, clothes and the cutest animated singing Christmas mouse.

Sorry, nothing Land Rover related beyond a pay check.

                            X-mas

The wife agreed that new aluminum Rocky Mountain door tops were in order for the Series.

I'm just trying to decide if I should have them painted or if I should leave them raw before mounting them up.

Gotta love a wife that understands the Rover thing (it doesn't hurt that the 2 year old daughter loves playing in the truck).

                                Christmas

I got this great looking jute bag with two very nice black lumps of (rock?) and several short lenghts a tree switch branches. That is my usual gift.

Oh, and two bottles of "The Balvenie Doublewood" 12 year old single malt whisky. It was a big bag.
