    door seal problems

    whats going on
ive run into a couple of road blocks with my new defender door seals
tub side galvy body cap and the lower windscreen area.
    what have others done here.
i dont really want to cut the seal and ruin the integrity of the seal.
im not planning on taking off the roof so it doesnt have to be removable.
    thanks
    aaron

you don't have to trim the actual seal just the barbed part to fit around the capping and the windshield bracket.

Then use adhesive glue to secure it to the windscreen area.

I cut my seals into two pieces on the rear tub and plugged up the ends with some closed cell foam then coated that with the adhesive glue (the foam plug is to keep the glue from running down the inside).
