missing '64? series 1 went to farm auction.

forgive me if I've posted this twice. (couldn't find original) about 3-5 yrs. ago a green rag top series 1 was sold at auction in halfway oregon for about $25. has anyone heard of this vehicle? it needed a rear differential rebuild but was low mile, stored inside and the elephant skin seats didn't have a mark on them. rear end was removed but with vehicle. I hope it found a good home.

Last S1 was in 1958. '64 would be a 2A.

it was a old original, kinda small.........definatly series 1, not sure where i got the idea it was a 1964, mabey the owners got it then.

yeah, i remember it, went to an enthusiast eventually who started its restoration. He had a website, I cant remember his name though. More than 5 years though.

It didn't need a lot of restoring, mabey he'll reply here?

There were two, one which I eventually ended up with and later sold and the other one with the bad rear end. I donno where either is now.
