Rear axle flange question 2a 109

    Hello all
Was inspecting my rear axles right looks great left one looks great also but has a little play where the flange joins the axle, is this a big deal??
Also the rig has 43 thousand and change on it should I change both axles as precaution read somewhere they get fragile around that mileage or don't worry..

    Thanks

Change both axles and at least the worn flange.
The axles get work-hardened and should be changed every 20k-30k miles. Any slop in the drive line will increase the chance of breaking something, especially an axle.

Maybe I'm lucky and lead a charmed life but I've never broken an axle. Jim, do you still offer rear axles for sale that will work without having to go into my rear diff and change anything?
