Series lll Rims

Does anyone have a set of wide rims to fit a series or can you send me in the right direction to find them. I know what i want but they are only available in the U.K.. Any help greatly appreciated.....

The DIsco rims are 7 inches wide, the widest LR makes that fits Series rigs.

This is a picture of one on the rear of my Series II. And a mud tyre of course.

Can you mate the outer rim off of a Disco Wheel to a center
punched out of a series rim?
I have four series centers punched out and I'm looking for a
suitable outer rim...6.5 or 7".

Never Mind...O took a closer look at a picture. I can see the
the Center Diameter of the Disco wheel is larger.

i was looking to get something a bit more streetable for my series, so i take it that the series I rims from the discovery with fit with no mods?

Here is a link to a nice rim for your Series...they are 16x7s American
Racing rims. My friend has put them on his Defender and Disco. I fit
them on my Series IIA 109, and they look nice.
The only problem is avialability...they run out and quickly and new
shipments dates from the manufacturer is random.

The only issue is that the series lug stems are slightly shorter than
Disco or Defender which were longer to accomidate the alloy rims.
If you Mount the AR rims, your series lugs will not thread all the way
in...THIS IS NOT A HAZZARD...you will have more than enough thread
to be safe. In fact I think it's better to have the studs inside the lugs a bit.
You will never grind the ends and not be able to remove the lugs.

The AR rims run $66.00 ea! I think it's 50.00 for shipping five.
You have to call them for avialability.

Correct the Discovery Sieries I steel rims will fit Series rigs with no problem. I've had a set on since 1996. And they do clear the front disk brake conversion sold by Rock Mountain. I prefer to use the large diameter single sided late IIA lug nuts though.

110 wheels should do the trick.

I've been looking for them half heartedly for some time but close to giving up in my state-side search.

If you find a source, then let it be known. I'm half heartedly looking... as I said...

On another on note, I have two different sets of rims. American made, american market, and they are rusting badly. They have the outset I need for steering wants, but as said, rusting... If my camera worked, I'd post good current pictures. Instead, see what I've got here:

This is a shot of the rims before (about a year ago) they rusted (within the last six months). I have no complaints with them other than the fact that they are rusting and also, they were not originally black (flakes can be seen in the picture) which I think fits the truck.

I think my wheels were made for the Jeep market but haven't looked into it.

Also, the seller wouldn't answers my questions, so I can't tell you where they come from either. Perhaps that is a sign about bling and asking for it?

Well, I think you all should be able to fill in the blank. What word has three letters and can be used as an adjective if you add a "y" to the end of it?

Or to put it another way, what is a series rover with a 200tdi fitted?
