I found them on craiglist and I am going to go take a look at them. I am just not sure I can get the rifle mounts to fir my rovers. I have a 1975 lightweight and a 1982 109 ffr with the plastic dash. I am wondering with a little modification if I could get them to fit as I would love to mount my L1A1 or Sten in the rovers.
In reference to the thread "Thank you AMC's Walking Dead" you could always get another set, mount them to the 'wings' and using surplus throttle linkage parts hook up a trigger pull by the front seat.
1958 107 SW - Sold to a better home
1965 109 SW - nearly running well
1966 88 SW - running but needing attention
1969 109 P-UP

While I appreciate your vigor in the matter, I don't believe spinal mounted guns will work on a series vs. zombie battlefield. Steering is to slow to get a good lock on the fast and erraticly moving zombies.

These look the the .303 Enfield rifle mounts common on MOD vehicles from the 1940's though the mid to late 1960's. Fairly common, but still a neat bit of MOD kit from the period.
