alternator conversion on a 2a

I am converting my generator 2a with a Delco 10si alternator and have conflicing information on how to rewire the voltage regulator.

What order are the terminals named?

When looking at the firewall and from left to right is it

E, D, F, A, A1

or the other way around?

Its printed on the plastic cover for the VR

I think that the voltage regulator can be put in upside down.

Leafsprung is right it is printed on the cover.

When I just did mine I looked at the Ottowas Valley site, RN's page as well as Terri Anne's page.

Can't believe I didn't see that on the cover.

The conversion went well. I've now got a alternator powered rover 2A and all is right in the world.
