    Wheel Question

I received 5 extra wheels with my rover when I purchased it..
the 4 on the rover seem to be more modern wheels, tubeless tires and hold air great..
the other 5 I just got blasted and primed.. I can see the numbers and stamping at this point.. Visually I can see that there is a difference..

    3 are 231601 / 5Fx16x46 / 963
    2 are FV738903 / 569690 / 964

    any idea what I got...
    I think the 231601 are 88" wheels

    569690 = LWB rims,
The LWB rims came in two types

    272309 5.5" wide with a 1 3/4" off-set
    and
    569690 5.5" wide with a 1 5/16" off-set

The FV is for Fighting Vehicle (ex MOD rims usually)

    964/963 I think dates (1964 1963)

    The 231601 are 5" SWB rims, suitable for 6.00 x 16 tires.
    1965 SIIa 88",1975 Ex-MOD 109/Ambulance, 1989 RRC, blah, blah, blah...

so the 2 LWB rims I will be able to mount my 235 85r 16 spares on?
Will tubeless tires be ok on these? I kinda don't see why not, just asking..

and I guess I have 3 SWB rims that are blasted and primed if anybody is interested.

If tyhey don't leak air around the rivets you can put tubeless tires on them. They won't have safety beads like tubeless rims today have and you'll need those big valve stems (tr-15?).

Big valve stems I was told they are an old Ford type that fit.
