I recently purchased a 1974 Series 3 with only 13,000 miles.
I know that Series 3 trucks were imported with 15" wheels. The previous owner bought four 5.5"x16" rims w/1.875" offsets from Rovers North and mounted them onto Cooper 225/75R/16 tires.
My turning radius seems greatly diminished compared to other Series Rovers that I have owned. It almost gives a "lurching-chugging" feeling when I turn the wheel hard. I believe they may be rubbing.
Do I have to correct the steering stops to remedy this problem? Are the tires that he mounted on these 16" rims not recommended? This truck will never see dirt and it's only driven on occasions. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated, Thanks Ron Thompson
