Need to swap out a side panel....how difficult?

    Hello,

How difficult would it be to swap out my hardtop side panels?

Someone wants to buy my pair, but would have to swap over my powdercoated ones a bit early. Had planned on doing it over the summer, but might have a sale.

    Easy job....nightmare??

Unbolt the old one....bolt in the new one. That's the beauty of a series truck!

Sounds doable without too much work

So, does the interior side trim and roof need to come off, and then it is a few bolts for the side? Any specifics appreciated. I'm not at home....perhaps it is my Haynes manual?

        Cheers,

You need access to both sides of the seam between the side panel and the roof. Depending on your interior trim level, you may have to remove different things to access the fasteners. Just remove whatever's in the way.
