Trans Drain Plug Size/James Bond Smoke Screen

So, when I was filling my series 3 gearbox this last night I neglected to actually put the draing plug back in. Instead, it was left on the rear spring for storage, and it is now somewhere in a storm drain. In the process of driving around North Seattle to test out some of the other work I did, I managed to sling a ton of 90 weight onto the exhaust pipe, which as you can imagine both smelled awesome, and made a ton of smoke. In the process of limping home, I had several people let me know that my car was on fire. So, I brought out my TR6 to get to work today...which currently has no top making for a soggy ride indeed. Anyway, I pulled the transfer case plug, but forgot to bring it in with me so that I could pick up a replacement on the way home. The question I have is does anybody know the size and thread on the plug? I assumed (crossed my fingers) that it was not a British pipe thread and I could snag one at the local fastener supply house. Any help you could give would be great!

Do you mean the fill plug or drain plug?
