Put the gasket in the roof first. Lube channel with glass cleaner. Lay the glass on the outside of the gasket and push in while pushing the lip of the gasket out from the inside with a windshield stick. This is what the stick looks like.

When the glass is all in, use a insert tool to install the locking strip. That tool looks like this.

I did this last weekend. I'd suggest washing up liquid as the lube. As above, put the gasket on the roof. I put the glass in the lower channel all the way first, then pushed the glass in. I used a flat screwdriver to lift the lip over the glass on the sides and then top. Once the glass was in, I made the locking strip install tool from a length of tig filler. A thin coat hanger will work. If working from right to left at the top (CCW looking from the outside), start the strip in the tool from left to right (excess on your left), angle the tool as you would a wood chisel, insert it down into the groove (liberally lubed with the soap), and work the tool around the groove, keeping it angled. It will seat the strip as it goes. Takes all of about 60 seconds if conditions are right.
