fan paint color

I removed the water pump on my truck yesterday for replacement. While I am awaiting the parts to arrive I want to sandblast and paint the fan and pulley. Is the correct color gloss or satin black?

Same question for the emergency brake handle.

Ex-MOD fans are usually yellow. IIRC, you are running a civilian 4-blade fan set-up, so it would be black. Most parts I've seen with original paint appear to be semi-gloss black. Some satin black paints will have a little more gloss to them if you spray them on thick. Either way, semi-gloss or satin black should be good.

I painted my moving parts and frequent service items red. That, and I had a few rattle can to use up. Yes, even the pedal levers need a shot of grease once in a while.
