Storing a SWB hardtop on it's rear?

I rigged a hoist to remove my hardtop but really don't like having something hanging there all summer. I have plenty of room in the garage if I tipped it up on it's rear. Has anyone stored one like that without issues?

I've had two 109 roofs stored in my garage for years - both stand on the rear end, and ratchet-strapped to the wall. This is without the roof sides attached...

Very fancy, my setup involves a pair of 2x4's. I went ahead and tipped it up and it seems stable and a decent way to store it.
