perhaps a small pond.... one side has a rocky bottom and is fairly shallow, the other side was much deeper with a very soft, muddy bottom.

This weekend was a blast, thanks to everyone that made the trip down, and Aaron for getting the word out!

Sorry I missed the trails. The show was fun and was good to see some folks again.
Sean, I'd be up for something. I don't know much about the Adirondacks but a minute in the woods beats a day at work any time! Is your wife all rovered out? Mine can relate......

Yeah, I think she had enough. Not sure if its her last trip or not. I think its the Interstate at 65 mph with no seatbelts no airbags and door latches that would n't stay closed that frayed her nerves .Shes a real trooper though and I'm glad to have her along (just in case she reads this ).
As far as another outting I'll keep kicking this around and see what kind of interest might form among the others.

                            GREAT TRIP..

Yup, made it home in 2 hours 17 min. .... Must have had a tail wind.
I would like to thank you all for a great weekend and a very relaxing time. I had expectations of a very boring trip and many breakdowns. Whilst sitting about the fire ring sat nite and looking around at the friends and leaking rovers, the faint odour of hypoid and burning dump cake in the air it occurred to me that THESE ARE the good old times. No stress, belly full of charred burger , bum sore from flat rover seat, kidneys slightly bruised from trail riding. Who could ask for more.
The weather could not have been any better. The stars were out and George the series 3 was in top form.
If the at the car show didn't know a great truck when they saw it, oh well. Chrome never got any one home...
Thanks to all , everybody had a hand in this weekend and it was the highlight of my year so far.
I will scout out some class 6 roads up here for an outing. The Unity trail is about 12 miles long but should pose no major issue. Some good camp sites as well..... AND NO TAX ,.... AND NO CT. OUT OF STATE SUR CHARGES......
Cheers to the lot of ya.
                            Kris . ( MacGyver)

I forgot to take some close-ups, but here are some overall shots:

Here's a few shots of a beautiful MG that was done by the same shop that is currently doing the body & paint on my 68 Camaro.
                              Look at that paint! :
