    Soft Top Question

I have a soft top and I have all of the hoop set in place except for the drain channels, which I don't have the right one. Does it matter if I run the top without the channels?

    Thanks,
    Robert

Sure, I suppose you could temporarily while you are waiting for parts. The edges of the top that are supposed to tuck behind the channels will flap around a bit at speed, especially the horizontal edges that tie off to the tabs on the upper channels. The upper channels connect the hoops to the windscreen frame, so the hoops may want to sway fore & aft a little. Also, the channels hold the weatherstripping for the door tops, so you will have major water leakage if it rains.

Agreed Jim! And water leakage?! You're going to get that anyway!
