in attempting to measure the length of the pushrod on the clutch slave cylinder, i have come across this plate. it fit between the slave and the mounting bracket effectively acting as a spacer. i can find no mention of this part in the green book, and don't know if its supposed to be there, or if it was added by a previous owner to take up some slack on the clutch or something.
the diagram in the green book that explains how to measure length of the pushrod in vague at best, showing a drawing that says to measure between the nut, and some unknown area above it, and this plate further complicates things.
it is 1/4" thick, and does not appear to be home made. it appears to have been stamped out rather than cut or drilled.
