    Series III Wheel Stud Thread?

What diameter and thread pitch are Series 3 wheel studs? I want to replace my screw in IIA type with some that are slightly larger (the press in type). I think I am right that the III's are larger.

If you buy the SIII studs you can dremel away the threads on the SII setup and then press in the SIII studs. Did this years ago on my SII 109 and it worked a charm.

I know that other stuff, what I need to know is are the threads English or Metric, what size and what threads per inch, or thread pitch if they are metric.

So, are you going to make your own?
The Series III Stud # is RNC501 Stud or use the late IIa stud PLC405 and you will not need to change the lug nuts.

Not difficult at all, just want to know where you'll get the studs from, also the length etc. You know, minor details like that.

Les, that was really low. Letting me go all this time thinking it was 5/8 - 18. I even ordered the stupid bolts for a test! All the time, knowing it was 16mm x 1.5.

I found the correct info on TeriAnn's site.

Been wondering this for years but was too lazy to act on it. Now maybe I can put longer studs on to make up for those THICK wolf wheels, though they haven't fallen off yet...
