    Intake/Exhaust opinions

I'm back! I'm like that friend that only ever calls when I need something.

After encountering some REALLY bad driving issues after finally fixing the gearbox, I took the manifold off to replace the gasket and do a lookie-loo.

This is what I found: http://s233.photobucket.com/albums/e...ExhaustIssues/

The carb has some obvious shiney spots on each side where it bolts to the intake. You can also see some varnish on the carb and the intake. Take a peek at the pics and let me know if you see anything else out of line that I need to address. Wondering if another carb rebuild with new gaskets would fix it or if I am need of a replacement carb altogether.

I also lost 2 studs when I took the manifold off. Anyone know what size the last 2 rearward ones are? At least those explain a possible exhaust leak causing the poor running condition I experienced which prompted all of this work. I should have waited until I took the manifold off when I placed my parts order...I hate having to order 2 studs and hoping I can find some locally.

As always, your insight and opinions are greatly appreciated!
