    Axles to chassis

I'm hoping you all can help me here. I'm trying to get to a rolling chassis. I've got the axles, plates, u-bolts, etc together, rolled it under and hooked everything up. unfortunately, the perches are about 2" forward of the bumpstops. When I looked through the photos I took taking everything apart they were on top of each other. I reversed the springs thinking I reversed them, but it doesnt help.

Am I over analysizing this and it will settle in when the rear springs are in and I lower everything, or do I need to find a way to compress the springs to lengthen them?

    Thanks,

    Jason

    Yes, things will get better.
The center to center distance of the spring, unladen is shorter than when loaded and all dimensions will move rearward.
Hint; leave all the U=bolts a little loose until all four ends of the springs are bolted into place.
