I was getting water in thru the seal around the glass in the bottom of my windscreen. Also coming in at the top of the brake tower to bulkhead connection.
Do the water torture test, light sprinkle directed at specific areas first, if nothing leaks turn up the volume.

You really haven't lived till you hit that "deeper-than-it-looks" puddle in the road at 30mph and have the old punky rubber boot on the red lever fail. Wow!
