    Trakker high back seats

Does anyone here have exmoor trakker seats in an ex mod 109 regular? I read on another forum they sit to upright in the regular due to the bulkhead behind the seats. I am deciding between the exmoor deluxe (cheaper) and the trakker seats (safer??). I did a 1000 mile trip in the truck with the standard MOD seats and they did ok. They are just pretty tore up so I am looking to upgrade. I thought I was sold on the trakkers until I read what I previously stated. Any thoughts?

I put the Trakkers in my 109" with the pickup cab. I'm 5'9" so I was able to move the seat forward a little in the track allowing the seat to be in the 'reclined' position as it touched the back of the cab. They are very comfortable.

Im also right around 5,9 and have the trackers in my 109 SW..
they are very strait as compared to a normal passenger vehicle, but not a deal breaker and deff more comfortable than the original seats.

        Height

I'm 6'1" and the rover is already on the small side. With the seats sitting forward a bit it might make it even more cramped.

Do you have the rubber bumpers on the bulkhead for the seats?

If so, you may be able to gain an inch or more of back travel on the seat back by taking them out. Put something for a chafe guard between the seat and bulkhead though.

Thats what i had to do with my seats in my 88, and i am running stock seats.

I believe the 109" regular (2-door) configuration holds the most potential for a tall driver (with regard to seat adjustability and legroom). I'm 6'4" and have genuine LR deluxe hi-back seats - very similar to trackers. I slid the adjustable seat rails all the way back and I removed the metal setback standoffs (which held the seat-back ~3-inches forward of the rear bulkhead). After removal I relocated the rubber bumper directly to the bulkhead capping. At first it felt a little 'gangsta', as I was used to sitting nearly vertical, but it's much more comfortable for a long torso. I never had a problem with the seat-base location, as I prefer the pedals close for someone my size.

I'm really comfortable with this set-up.

You can see in the above picture that I gained a couple inches with the standoff removed.

Defender seats would make a nice upgrade, and shouldn't cost too much if you can find them used.

                    Stand offs

Thanks for the photo. My stand offs are currently out and I have reclined the stock seats back. I'm still working on deciding between the exmoor deluxe seats and the trakkers high back seats. For some reason this is my hardest decision to make. Normally when a part is bad you rebuild / replace it. With seats there are options......
