choke sending unit

I noticed that some heads have a electronic choke sending unit..
is there a blanking plate as well?

Yes, there is.
You can make one quite easily. Put masking tape over the hole, including the screw holes. Rub the tape with a screwdriver handle (or similar) until you can see the outlines of the holes and the boss in the head casting. Remove tape, transfer to a piece of steel, and use it as a template for cutting out a blanking plate.

I'm pretty sure RN can supply masking tape with the green/white label, but that's not really necessary...

Atlantic British supplied me one for use with my Turner engine that I purchased from them. You could try them or our hosts.

I would be better off with the blanking plug anyway..
