    door hinges

I'm just wondering if the brass balls in the door hinges should be greased? Part of me says yes but another part says they will pick up grit and cause wear. Will the wear be faster with or without? Will the grease keep out the grit longer? Inquiring minds want to know!
Anyone out there with greased hinge experience?

Yeah, man. Grease them up. I replaced mine about a year ago because they looked like melted skittles.
