Looks very nice, did you pick it up in San Diego?

I saw one just like that about 6 months ago.

yes small world .......... i picked it up from san diego.

....sold at christies auction in 2007 owned before by pabst family that used it to transport guests from the guest house to the main house. in 2007 it had the original spark plugs (david cooper from cooper technica told me). i saw it in the corner of a showroom in san diego when i went to buy my rs america and fell in love with the damn thing. 6 months later called the dealership and asked if it was still around. they wanted 28.5k and i got them down to 23. i loooooove the look and feel of driving it. it's utilitarian and simple and beautiful.

                  Fantastic 88.

Judging by your name you live in the Metroplex, you should bring that out to next months Cars & Coffee at the BMW dealershhip at the tollway and Spring Creek. Mike and I usually bring our Series III's and it would be nice to see another classic Rover.

Thought so as well. Some friends told me they saw another Series in Cardiff and described it as an immaculate navy blue.

Not sure if you've seen mine driving around Encinitas/Cardiff... it's the brown one with the top off.

Wow, I would guess that 99% of our Series are not as pristine as that, you've bought a dream truck. Please do us a favor and engage four wheel and actually bring it off road. My guess is it has never done that, Beautiful truck!
