Stopping leaks, is it possible?

I knew this thing was going to leak but do think I realized just how bad it was going to be, or how quickly it would get everywhere. I have some rubber mats I bought for when I park in the garage. But anytime I park in the street or driveway, no matter how long or short, it leaves spots. I'm expecting my neighbors to complain any day now, or a fine from the HOA.

What can I do... New gaskets? New seals? Has anyone successfully stopped the leaks?

I just spray painted the asphalt black in a nice neat rectangle where I park my rover.

Save those cardboard boxes! I've have different levels of success with seals. Some very good success others not much better when done. Much will depend on the wear on the area where seal runs. Seen where people have used sleeves to address worn shafts, something I have no experience with.

The leaks just give them personality and as they are the dominant Spieces of 4x4 they are just marking their territory letting all those jeeps and Land Crusiers who is really KING!!!!

Sometimes when I drive down the road, I leak so much oil that the cars behind me leak my oil.

I asked the question LONG time ago and I was told to get a machine shop to build brass gaskets.

im fairly leak free...
but again, i fell subject to the "New Rover"
My RMS get s abit drippy.. but I have a feeling my New engine might resolve that whenever I get a chance to do the work

Yes, my 1967 109-RHD---with a Euro 6 cyl & and an OD, leaks no oel....

I found if I park my mover on a slight incline I leak a whole lot less.

I don't have too much of a problem with motor oil, but gear oil is another story. Buy stock in Lucas.

Put down a little pile of kitty litter and always park over. No joke. All you have to do is sweep it up occassionally and replace it. It'll stop 99.9% of the oil stains. It'll even pick up old stains to some extent.
