How large a tire will fit with the Deluxe hood

I found a deluxe hood but I'm not sure if it will fit my wheel/tire combo correctly. I have 235/85/16's. Has anyone used them with the deluxe hood?

    Yup.

No problems--Not much taller than the 750 x 16 that was on there before. 235 85R 16 pictured with a normal 109 rim:

I have a 265/75R16 on D110 Wheel on the deluxe, dished bonnet. Not the easiest thing to see over though. Link below.

not a great picture, but yes.. mines on there as well..
only problem I have is with a Rochester carb its a little high and the weight of the tire has made a nice impression on the tire recess.

I have 235/85-16 on mine and it works fine, no problem. I would not fit a larger wheel/tyre than 235/85-16 on the hood. The extra weight from a larger tire on the hood can also make the hoods steelframe crack and bend the hinges.

I had a 30/9.5 x 15 on mine and couldn't see out very well and, as was mentioned, it's heavier. The hold downs also weren't tall enough to clamp the wheel. I switch to a 600 x 16.
