While this may sound odd, and yes I realize I'm throwing my "newb" status out their for all to mock, I'll ask the question anyway...
Do any of you know if there is a Guatemalan version of our beloved Series Rovers, called "Rand Rover?"
The reason I ask is, I work with a fellow from Guatemala and when I wore my fancy-schmancy new Rover t-shirt from cafepress to work the other day he pointed at the vehicles and said "Rand Rover, in my country they are very good truck."
He has a thick accent so I assured him he meant "LAND Rover" and he repeatedly told me in his country they are called "Rand Rover."
I searched the interent and this forum and came up with a big goose egg.
Do you all think this is a "lost in translation" phenomenon or does my Guatemalan friend have something here?
