Humming in Rear Cargo Area

Anyone ever experience a humming sound coming from the passenger side of the rear cargo area? It sounds like it is coming from right around where the fuel cap is. This is on a 92 RRC.

The obvious answer to why it is humming is, "It doesn't know the words." But really, it could be a lot of things. Does it happen while driving, idling, or what? May be able to help out with a little, more exact, information. I had this happen and found that the rear disc changer mount had rusted through and the unit was leaning against the fender well.

Hello there,

Have you checked the solenoid for the fuel filler flap? Maybe this has stuck and is holding power. Just a thought....
