    A BAD DAY

    My '90 classic is dead.
the block has a new hole, looks like a con rod let go.
thinking it could be a parts rover... or a project...
bought new, green, 140k, never hit. / frame has normal east coast rust.
lots of new parts / int. ok
    located n.va.
    anyone/anyone?

Might be better to put the Old Girl in the "For Sale" section of the site, better chance for a hit.

The old girl is over there, 0 hits.
I really hate to see the cannibals get her...
she ran like a tank for 22 years...
maybe i should change her over to diesel or chevy or electric...
the only thing bad is the motor.
      well my '94D soldiers on.

Maybe something in a TDI would put her right. I understand (but don't know for sure...) that a kit is available to change it over. Always bad to see a Rover bite the dust and the canibals get it. Or maybe a 3.9L change over?
