Hey everyone,
I'm a new guy with a question. I have a 2 door RRC '75 that I just purchased for the second time and couldn't be happier to get the green beast back after 10 years. Found in in CA, and it has not run for over five years. I recently cleaned out the fuel lines, changed the spark plugs and got it to turn over and run a little (great feeling).
Anyway the fuel filter is the bowl type that mounts up at the left fender. The bowl was missing and I've been told I can't get just the bowl. I have to buy a whole new assembly which is around 106.00.
So here is the question: Is there a pump from another make/model that is compatable? The filter on there now is actually and AC Delco filter, but the auto parts store couldn't identify it. I apprecieate any info.
