    Rangie sitting for 17 years

What steps should my buddy and I take to try and get it running? Basic tine up. Drain the fuel tank put fresh stuff in there. Oil change. What else? How can we get fresh fuel up to the engine? Any tips? It's an 87 range rover.

Should be no trouble getting fuel to engine as I believe it has an electric fuel pump (Unless my foggy memory deceives me). Electrical connections should be cleaned up (battery cables, starter cables, coil wiring, etc.). All fluids should be changed (trans, transfer case, diffs, brake fluid). With it sitting so long, all hoses should be checked also. But, as you say, getting it started is the first step.
