Help me figure out what this picture is of...

ok so i have 1995 classic lwb and was under the dash / in the footwell on the drivers sider today - checking to see if the patches i did on some leaks this fall are still keeping the water out.. anyways...

so i noticed these two things, one looks like a ground with the wire broken off and the other looks like two things unplugged. I looked all over and in the electrical manual and still cant figure out what they are.

the pigtails may just be an option that was never used, there are many of those in rovers, the ground is an improper removal of any attachment once on your car, it is not a factory gorund, i would not worry about eithr one.

i bought the car used, so the mystery ground attachment makes sense. I used to ignore stuff like that, but with the rover always neededing a bit of extra love, i figure it was better to not over look something that could be cuaseing some problem i wasnt even aware of it.

maybe those connectors are so i can get a pump installed in the footwell for all that darn leaking

on a rover nothing surprises me anymore, except the price of spare parts.
